This is not a soundtrack album, but rather a compilation of rare essays in jazz from the magic pen of the late Mario Nascimbene. Our first suite, ("Bellinda e il mostro"), comes from incidental music composed as part of the maestro’s fruitful association with the "La Meridiana" theatrical company. The remaining two suites and BONUS TRACKS were drawn from Nascimbene’s prolific work for the small screen and some very rare jazz-inspired collaborations with fellow film composer and jazz master, Roberto Pregadio! Hexacord label owner, Prof. Roberto Zamori writes: "It's the kind of music we listened to in Italy on radio during fifties and sixties... and the cover pictures humorously show the circuitry of a nineteen-sixties radio!"
