This is the jazzy music (and sound effects) from the cult Italian cartoon La Linea about the little man and his adventures - all created only from a single line!
La Linea was created by animator Osvaldo Cavandoli, who became famous for the simple but brilliant graphic conception - a true highlight of Italian "fumetto" (what the Italians call their cartoons).
Artistically as well as commercially, the La Linea series was a huge success - from 1972 approximately 100 episodes were shown on TV in 40 countries all over the world. La Linea was featured in several adverts, five books and hundreds of illustrations for magazines, calendars and posters. The animation won awards at international film festivals - one of them being "Best Comic-Strip" in Annecy in 1972.
This LP contains the jazzy music used in La Linea, along with a two cool remixes and also the full audio tracks from a number of episodes. He's got such a cute little voice!
