Digitmovies pubblica per la prima volta su disco la colonna sonora completa di Bruno Nicolai tratta dal film "Quel gran pezzo della Ubalda tutta nuda e tutta calda" (aka Ubalda,all naked and warm) diretto nel 1972 da Mariano Laurenti ed interpretato da Edwige Fenech, Karin Schubert ed il noto comico Pippo Franco. Questo film fu uno dei grandi successi al botteghino durante la stagione del genere "Decamerotico" , dove tutte le storie erano ambientate in era medievale, popolate da belle dame poco vestite e da cavalieri molto cornuti. Il commento di Bruno Nicolai vede ufficialmente la luce su disco per la prima volta dato che fino ad oggi il commento é del tutto inedito su 45 e 33 giri e questa pubblicazione é possibile grazie alla collaborazione degli archivi Edipan dove i nastri stereofonici sono stati conservati fino ad oggi.Il commento si apre con i Titoli di testa (Tr.1) dove, dopo una seria fanfara militare, viene introdotto un tema buffo per il cavaliere(Pippo Franco) che ritorna dalla guerra e ripreso poi nella colonna sonora con numerose variazioni di sapore antico, ma con arrangiamenti Beat. Per il personaggio di Ubalda (Edwige Fenech) Bruno Nic olai ha composto un dolce Tema d'amore (Tr.7,17,19), la cui versione per grande orchestra e coro é presentato nella traccia 9 (in realtà il tema "C'era una volta" da"Zenabel" del 1969, di cui abbiamo ricreato il nuovo edit esattamente come appare in "Quel gran pezzo della Ubalda tutta nuda e tutta calda" ). Bruno Nicolai ha scritto un Tema a Capella per sole voci usato nel "Finale" del film (Tr.23) che ha variato acusticamente nelle Tr.2 e Tr.15. Alla fine del nostro CD includiamo "Finale" alternativo non usato nel film in versione strumentale (Tr.24) e con coro (Tr.25). Compact disc a tiratura limitata - libretto de-luxe con 8 pagine a colori.

Digitmovies releases for the first time on record Bruno Nicolai's complete score from the movie "Quel gran pezzo della Ubalda tutta nuda e tutta calda" (aka Ubalda, all naked and warm) directed in 1972 by Mariano Laurenti and starring Edwige Fenech, Karin Schubert and noted comedian Pippo Franco. This movie was one of the smash hits at the box office during the season of "Decamerotico" ("Herotic Decameron") movies where every story plays in the medieval era, populated of beautiful little dressed dames and cuckold knights. The score by Bruno Nicolai officially sees the light of day on record for the first time, since it has been released neither on 45 rpm nor 33 rpm records. Our CD release was made possible thanks to the collaboration of the Edipan Archives where the stereophonic master tapes have been kept until today. The score opens with the Main Titles (Tr.1) where, after a serious military fanfare prelude a funny theme for the knight (Pippo Franco) returning from the war is introduced and later reprised in the score with several variations of ancient flavour, but with Beat arrangements. For the character of Ubalda (Edwige Fenech) Bruno Nicolai has composed a sweet love theme (Tr.7,Tr.17,Tr.19), whose version for big orchestra and choir is presented in Tr.9 (the theme is identical to "C'era una volta" from the movie "Zenabel" of 1969, of which we have recreated the new edit exactly as appears in "Quel gran pezzo della Ubalda tutta nuda e tutta calda"). Bruno Nicolai has written a theme a Capella with mixed choir used in the "Finale" of the film (Tr.23) that has varied in acoustic way in Tr.2 and Tr.15. At the end of our CD we also enclosed the unused alternate "Finale" both the instrumental (Tr.24) and the choir version (Tr.25). Limited edition compact disc - 8 full colour pages de-luxe booklet.
