Digitmovies inizia ad esplorare musicalmente il "Territorio Giallo" di un altro Maestro della Musica da Film Italiana. Grazie ancora agli archivi C.A.M.,orgogliosamente pubblichiamo il primo volume della nostra nuovissima serie dedicata alle colonne sonore del M°Morricone per il Giallo italiano. Da" Senza sapere niente di lei" diretto nel 1969 da Luigi Comencini e con Philippe Leroy e Paola Pitagora - solo due brani erano stati pubblicati su compilation albums (LP: Scacchiera musicale, CAM ORL 8405 and CD: Pinocchio e i grandi libri al cinema CAM 493066-2). Per una storia dark ambientata in una Milano invernale, dove un giovane avvocato (Leroy) incontra e si innamora di una strana ragazza senza passato (Pitagora),Ennio Morricone ha scritto una partitura monotematica basata su un tema a valzer che é ripreso con variazioni.Nel film, questo sottofondo musicale crea il giusto sound in contrasto all'atmosfera ambigua della storia. La musica in stile Giallo é intro dotta nei temi atmosphere of the story. The Giallo music is introduced in the theme “Identikit di un delitto” (tr. 3 & tr.9) and in “Ricordo” (tr.12).Ennio Morricone ha scritto un tema molto sensuale e misterioso chiamato “Frammenti d’estasi” (tr.6). Durante la nostra compilazione di questo CD, per una ragione artistica il M°Morricone ha voluto quattro rari brani(tr.4, tr.7, tr.10, tr. 13) che ha registrato per il film mai realizzato “Lui per lei” (1970),col fine di creare un migliore esperienza d'ascolto rompendo la struttura monotematica delle colonna sonora di "Senza sapere niente di lei". Da "Lui per lei" della musica era stata precedentemente pubblicata solo su rarissimi LP C.A.M. di sonorizzazione (CAM CML 021: Psichedelico - Introspettivo - Flashback and CAM CML 010: Magico - Strano - Misterioso – Subacqueo).La musica qui contenuta da "Lui per lei" é TUTTO cio' che é stato registrato durante le sessions del 1970.La partitura é sperimentale, ma anche un sound di sapo re Lounge con l'uso di strumentazione Beat come chitarre elettriche distorte,organo,batteria e coro. Per questa registrazione in CD abbiamo usato tutto quello che é sopravvissuto nei nastri stereo delle Session originali di registrazione.

Digitmovies starts to explore musically the “Giallo territory” of another Maestro of Italian Flm Music. Again thanks to the C.A.M. archives, we proudly release the first volume of our brand new series dedicated to M°Morricone’s scores for Italian Giallo movies. From “Senza sapere niente di lei” – directed in 1969 by Luigi Comencini and starring Philip Leroy and Paola Pitagora – only two tracks were previously issued on compilation albums (LP: Scacchiera musicale, CAM ORL 8405 and CD: Pinocchio e i grandi libri al cinema CAM 493066-2). For a dark story placed in a winter Milano, where a young lawyer (Leroy) meets and falls in love with a strange girl with an unknown past (Pitagora), Ennio Morricone has written a monothematic score based on a waltz-like main theme that is reprised with variations. In the movie, this music background creates the right mood as contrast to the ambiguous atmosphere of the story. The Giallo music is introduced in the theme “Identikit di un delitto” (tr. 3 & tr.9) and in “Ricordo” (tr.12). Ennio Morricone has written a very sensual-mysterious theme called “Frammenti d’estasi” (tr.6). During our compilation of this CD release, for an artistic reason M° Morricone wanted to enclose four rare tracks (tr.4, tr.7, tr.10, tr. 13) he recorded for the never realized movie “Lui per lei” (1970) with the purpose to create a better listening experience breaking the monothematic structure of the “ Senza sapere niente di lei” score. From “Lui per lei” some music was previously available only on very rare C.A.M. Library LPs (CAM CML 021: Psichedelico - Introspettivo - Flashback and CAM CML 010: Magico - Strano - Misterioso – Subacqueo). The music contained here from “Lui per lei” is ALL that was recorded during the 1970 sessions. The score is experimental but also has a subdued Lounge flavour with use of Beat instrumentation like distorted guitars, organ, drums and choir. For this Cd release we used all the material survived on the original recording sessions stereo tapes.
