Alessandro Alessandroni
His whistle and guitar became the distinctive sound of
the Italian
Spaghetti Westerns. Alessandroni collaborated on hundreds
of movie
soundtracks and documentaries, most notably the Sergio Leone
trio "A
fistful of Dollars", "The Good, the Bad and the
Ugly. " "For a few Dollars
more" as well as "The Seven Golden Men",
"Around the World with the
Lovers of Peynet", "El Mercenario", "Navajo
Joe", "Once upon in the West"
and many more. His childhood fiend Ennio Morricone invited
him to
collaborate on the score for "A fistful of Dollars"
where his haunting
whistle became the signature tune to the series of Westerns
all 'Ilaliana.
Alessandroni has performed in live concerts, on radio and
on television
throughout Europe, he is a vituoso player of piano, accordion,
sitar,
mandolin & saxophone. But as he says, "of all instruments
that I have
played, there is always one I call my own, the guitar".
Slope (Paul & Honesty)
"Slope" was founded in 1996 by Dj Honesty and
Daniel Paul. Both have been around
for quite a while in the Berlin club-music scene.
Daniel Paul should be known to many as a DJ and for his
house releases on
his imprint Cabinet, which has been around since 1995.
"Slope" is determined to show a new side of music,
seeking to leave the
well trodden paths of classical club-musical genres such
as House or
Ambient towards an openminded approach - call it "elektro
jazzy freestyle",
if you want ...
Several releases for Jazzanovas Sonarkollektiv label, remixes
for Crippled
Dick Hot Wax and Compost Records speaking for consequent
fine work.
Enjoy!
