description & story
GDM Music releases for the first absolute time on record the OST by Robby Poitevin for the thriller spy-noir movie Assassination directed in 1967 by Hal Brady (Emilio P. Miraglia) and starring Henry Silva, Fred Beir, Evelyn Stewart, Peter Dane, Bill Vanders.

Next to Orders to Kill, Assassination seems to be the most popular all-purpose title for espionage films.
The 1967 edition of Assassination was financed in Italy and lensed in Germany.
Fred Beir stars as a CIA agent investigating a murder.
Muddying the waters are several double agents, whose identities are revealed only when the information can do the least amount of good for the hero.
Henry Silva also stars in this James Bond wannabe.

Robby Poitevin has written an OST typical of those days featuring a Lounge main theme for orchestra and choir alternated to Garage music, jazzy themes, a nostalgic love theme performed with sax and trumpet, gothic atmospheres where the harpsichord dominates played with a semi-experimental way, dramatic orchestral music (for the movie's climax).
Digitally remastered using the mono master tapes of the original session.
