Fourth volume of the series Bruno Nicolai in Giallo is La
coda dello scorpione, directed by Sergio Martino in 1971 and
starring Anita Strindberg and Gorge Hilton.
M° Bruno Nicolai has well represented musically the macabre
homicides of the story that take place in solar Greece, writing
dissonant music full of elements that come from the Avant-guard
and the jazz and that are alternated to two romantic and nostalgic
love themes that are background to the love affair of the two
protagonists.
For the first time on record, for this release every take found
in the master tapes was used.
Sound digitally restored from the original stereo elements featuring
a de-luxe booklet with 8 full colour pages. |

| George Hilton stars in this devilishly entertaining
giallo thriller about a garishly costumed killer knocking
off people in Athens.
Introducing Mrs. Baumer (Ida Galli) as the nominal heroine,
director Sergio Martino then pulls a Psycho number by having
her killed as she goes to collect the insurance left by her
husband, who died in an airplane disaster.
It's up to French reporter Anita Strindberg to figure out
what happened before becoming a victim herself.
This fun little Italian-Spanish co-production features an
international cast of horror veterans like Janine Reynaud,
Luis Barboo, and Luigi Pistilli.
Martino went on to make the bloodier giallo hit Torso.
