GDM releases on CD the OST by Ennio Morricone
for the dramatic movie a disubbidienza directed in 1981 by
Aldo Lado and starring Mario Adorf, Stefania Sandrelli, Carl
Diemunch, Therese Ann Savoy, Nanni Loy, Jacques Perrin, Clara
Colosimo, Marc Porel.
The plot, based on the novel with the same title by Alberto
Moravia published in 1948, tells about the son of fascist
middle class people who becomes partisan, but the postwar
years disappoint him.
Then he is pervaded by a strong desire of self-destruction
and he will be saved by a mature nurse who will initiate him
to sex.
Ennio Morricone has composed an OST with predominant romantic
and sometimes suspended themes where the enchanting voice
of Edda Dell'Orso, absolute protagonist, is featured
really as instrument in the orchestra.
For this CD the stereo session master tapes have been used,
properly remastered in digital, with the inclusion of eighteen
minutes of extra music, but two tracks of the original album
have been eliminated cause they do not belong to this movie. |
