This compact disc contains highlights from the
OST composed and conducted by Armando Trovajoli for Il magnifico
cornuto by Antonio Pietrangeli starring Claudia Cardinale and
Ugo Tognazzi;
La mia signora movie in five segments directed by Tinto Brass,
Mauro Bolognini and Luigi Comencini starring Alberto Sordi and
Silvana Mangano;
Le fate movie in four segments directed by Luciano Salce, Mario
Monicelli. Mauro Bolognini, Antonio Pietrangeli and starring
Monica Vitti , Enrico Maria Salerno, Claudia Cardinale , Gastone
Moschin, Raquel Welch , Jean Sorel, Capucine , Alberto Sordi.
In those years just few tracks were issued on 45 rpm singles
and compilations. This CD was prepared under the supervision
of the composer, taken from the original mono session tapes
(with a rare stereo track) kept in the Rca historic archives
digitally restored and remastered. Beyond an hour of Lounge
Style music that alternates romantic themes and elegant jazz
atmospheres with boisterous GoGo dance floor music, with the
participation of great soloists like the same M°Trovajoli
at piano, the voices of Edda Dell'Orso and of i Cantori Moderni
di Alessandroni.

This uninhibited Italian comedy was originally titled Il Magnifico
Cornuto.
Ugo Tognazzi plays a philandering businessman, inordinately
proud of his hyperactive libido. Claudia Cardinale is his
sexy wife, which makes one wonder why Tognazzi would ever
want to stray.
Be that as it may, Cardinale decides to take revenge on her
roving hubby by launching an affair of her own.
The beauty part is that she's almost able to get away with
her hanky-panky without her self-absorbed husband ever catching
on.

Alberto Sordi co-stars with Silvia Mangano in this Dino DeLaurentiis
comedy production gang-directed by Tinto Brass, Mauro Bolognini,
and Luigi Comenichi.
The sketches primarily deal with the endearing battles between
husbands and wives, giving Sordi the chance to mug for the
camera in the comic fashion that made him famous.

This melodramatic Italian and French anthology is comprised
of four unrelated short films directed by four different directors.
The first vignette, Queen Sabina chronicles the sexual misadventures
of a teenage girl on the road home. Queen Armenia centers
on a self-serving opportunistic gypsy babysitter who uses
her employer's kids for her own gain.
The third episode, Queen Elena centers on a husband who learns
a lesson about the perils of infidelity after he succumbs
to the wiles of the seductive wife next door.
The last vignette, Queen Marta centers on a wealthy woman
who, when drunk, uses her butler as an outlet for her lust.
