| description |
Mondo di notte oggi is a Mondo Movie with music
by Gianni Dell'Orso, composer, arranger, piano player, conductor
(brother of Giacomo, another famous name of the italian Music
and brother in law of Edda, the voice of the Italian Film Music)
and Gianni Oddi, one of the most known Sax players of the international
scene.
In Italy neither a 45 rpm single or a 33 rpm album were issued
in those days.
This movie had a so big success in Japan and so Japanese Rca
released an album that is surely among the rarest items in the
soundtrack market.
This collector's limited CD edition contains the Japanese album
tracks, but we have added also inedit material never before
appeared from the stereo master tapes kept in the Rca historic
archives.
This score is based on the rhythmical main theme Nigh magic
performed by romantic strings and vocalised by Edda Dell'Orso
and reprised in instrumental version.
The score is very varied cause the documentary shows entertainment
scenes in night clubs around the world:
a sensual bossa and a joyful samba, country music, funky music,
new age music including the sound of water.
Eight colour pages booklet enriched with archive stills.
Sound digitally remastered and restored using the stereo Album
master and the stereo tapes of the original sessions. |
