For the first absolute time on CD format the
original soundtrack from Per amore directed by Mino Giarda in
1976, starring Janet Agren, Capucine and Michael Craig.
A sweet / bitter movie telling the story of Alberto Reggiani,
great piano player specialized on Chopin music.
The man, without his wife's knowing, has a secret relationship
with a beautiful girl called Daniela on the background of a
romantic Venice, until a tragic epilogue.
In 1976 Rca released an album (TBL1 1234):
on side A five original orchestral tracks by Ennio Morricone
were featured, while on the B side Frederic Chopin themes performed
by Luis Bacalov at piano.
Two Academy award winners of Film Music together on the same
CD for the joy of collectors and fans. |
