GDM Music releases the OST by Ennio Morricone for the 1973
movie La Proprietà Non E' Piu' Un Furto directed by Elio
Petri.
All nevrotic tics, paranoia and strangeness of this grotesque
movie are perfectly highlighted by the score of Ennio Morricone
who has created fascinating mysterious and nostalgic themes
of experimental kind (often performed by the choir) alternated
to others of police/noir flavour like the track Colpo mixing
the orchestra to electronic sinkets.
For this special edition the complete stereo master tapes were
used that gave the chance to realize a CD with more than
half hour of material previously unreleased in the original
album. |

Italian Director Elio Petri, best known for his film Investigation
Of A Citizen Above Suspicion, here tells a complicated tale
about a bank clerk who is literally allergic to money.
Not only that, the clerk (Flavio Bucci) doesn't like the effect
money has on people.
For some reason, he steals things from a dishonest butcher (Ugo
Tognazzi).
This gives the butcher a convenient opportunity to file huge
insurance claims for the thefts.
