25 years after the movie Thunder by Larry Ludman (Fabrizio De Angelis), Beat Records releases the complete remastered score (with some never released before tracks) both of Thunder and Thunder 3.
These are two excellent works of Francesco de Masi whose atmospheres range from western to thrilling with romantic dives and arrangements that go from big orchestra and sometimes mix a classic style with electronic synts.
Everything done without never abandoning the elegant and sinphonic stile that always distinguished the great Roman author compositions.
These works of the early 80s position themselves in a period in which italian cinema was going to disappear.
Anyway, as a man who is going to die has a glimpse of vitality, also for cinema was the same:
Thunder and Thunder 3 as well as Fuga dal Bronx, Cobra Mission and Mad Dog represented good action movies that had nothing to envy to other more famous products and depict how the professionality and great talent of Maestro de Masi was capable of giving life to products of great quality.

story

A young Navajo by the name of Thunder (Mark Gregory) takes the lead in trying to stop a sacred burial ground from being plowed under so an observatory can be built.
This act not goes against tribal beliefs, but violates a treaty signed by his grandfather.
After a visit to the construction site concludes in a fight, Thunder tries to protest at the Sheriff's office and at the bank financing the project, but nothing works.
He is beaten and thrown out of the county, and finds no recourse except to fight back in the only way his enemies would understand, with force.
With stunning Monument Valley and the Grand Canyon as backdrops, the visual grandeur of this drama is impressive.
Thunder returned in two sequels, one in the works the same year this film was released.
