GDM Music presents on CD for the first time
in full stereophonic sound the OST by Ennio Morricone for
the movie Un Tranquillo Posto Di Campagna directed in 1968
by Elio Petri and starring Franco Nero, Vanessa Redgrave,
Georges Géret, Gabriella Grimaldi, Madeleine Damien,
Valerio Ruggeri, Rita Calderoni, Renato Menegotto.
The well known painter Leonardo Ferri, during a full creative
crisis, is tormented by unnerving nightmares and he is also
subdued by his mistress and manager Flavia.
Leaved off working in solitude in a venetian uninhabited villa,
the man will be disturbed by inexplicable phenomenon (noises,
apparitions...) and he will become obsessed with Wanda’s
ghost, a young venetian countess who lived in the villa and
where she was mysteriously murdered.
All the paranormal side of the story is emphasized by the
atonal score by Ennio Morricone made of experimental hallucinatory
and obsessive sounds.
This CD was realized using a stereophonic master assembled
in those days by the composer and never issued until today
and properly restored and remastered in digital. |
