Incredible work from this legendary Italian drummer.
Cuppini's working here in a number of different settings, all of them great.
Tracks are short, but nicely hard-edged and Cuppini's drums have a blazing boldness we don't always hear on other records, a great sense of power that really sets the scene for the tunes.
The horn solos are all great especially some of the Basso-Valdambrini interplay.
