The original Inglorious Bastards! This 1978 Italian War Movie is the one that inspired Quentin Tarantino's new masterpiece

description

The soundtrack to the original 1978 Italian acaroni-war flick Quel Maledetto Treno Blindato (or Inglorious Bastards as it was translated for the American market) by Enzo G. Castellari.
Soundtrack composer De Masi's music fits perfectly into Tarantino's fixation for Italian B movies of the 70s.
First 250 copies contain the CD of the album as a bonus.

story

Inglorious Bastards was the alternate title for the Italian adventure yarn Counterfeit Commandos.
The main characters are five soldiers facing court-martial in World War II France.
The quintet consists of Bo Svenson, Fred Williamson, Peter Hooten, Michael Pergolami and Jackie Baseheart.
The men escape, heading to the safety of the Swiss border;
along the way, they pull off several random acts of above-and-beyond heroism.

Cast:
Jack Basehart, Michael Pergolani, Fred Williamson, Bo Svenson, Peter Hooten, Michel Constantin, Raimund Harmstorf, Debra Berger, Ian Bannen
